Seabuckthorn seed oil powder is mostly used in food, medicine, healthcare, and other industries. Seabuckthorn seed oil is rich in vitamin E and has strong antioxidant properties. It can also reduce the generation of free radicals in cigarettes and reduce the harm of smoking to the human body.
Seabuckthorn seed oil was extracted with a Soxhlet extractor by solvent extraction method. The fatty acid components of seabuckthorn seed oil were separated and identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometer. A total of 15 fatty acid components were identified and their relative contents were determined by peak area normalization. Among them, unsaturated fatty acids accounted for 67.78 percent . The main component is linolenic acid, accounting for 9.21 percent of unsaturated fatty acids. The saturated fatty acid is mainly palmitic acid and its content is 70.79 percent of the saturated fatty acid. Followed by stearic acid accounted for 19.37 percent of saturated fatty acids.
The flavoring test results showed that adding seabuckthorn seed oil to the single-material tobacco can coordinate with the tobacco to improve the aroma quality and increase the aroma quantity. At the same time, it also reduces irritation, removes miscellaneous air and improves aftertaste. In cigarette flavoring, Sea Buckthorn seed oil powder is more suitable for light-flavor single-flavor cigarettes. If it is added to strong-flavor single-flavor cigarettes, the effect is improved, but the improvement is not obvious. Under the conditions of this test, it is more appropriate to add 11.5 percent of the quality of cut tobacco.
